PHOTO RELEASE: Bustos Greets Honor Flight of the Quad Cities Veterans At Arlington National Cemetery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) greeted veterans from the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
“It is always an honor to help welcome the brave veterans from back home to our nation’s capital,” said Congresswoman Cheri Bustos. “I know I speak for everyone across our region when I say we owe the freedoms we enjoy today to their service. I’m committed to honoring our brave veterans as well as our active and reserve troops by making sure America always keeps her promises to them.”

The Honor Flight of the Quad Cities brings local veterans to Washington to visit our nation’s capital and the memorials built in their honor. The flights are fully paid for by donations from organizations and individuals. To find out more about Honor Flight of the Quad Cities, click HERE.
