Cheri Bustos’ new Washington office, local food from Illinois’ 17th Congressional District was served to family, friends and constituents who stopped by to wish Bustos the best during the new session of Congress and to celebrate her swearing in.

The local food included Dave’s Gator Sauce from Galesburg and Boetje’s Stone Ground Mustard from Rock Island.

“Nothing is more important to me than representing the hardworking families of Illinois’ 17th Congressional District, and that starts with never losing touch of where I come from and the people I’ve sworn to represent,” said Bustos.  “My family has always enjoyed supporting local Illinois businesses like Dave’s and Boetje’s and I’ll continue to enjoy and spread the word about all of the fine small businesses across our region whenever I get the chance to in Washington.”
