WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the office of Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) announced that tomorrow afternoon, Cheri will meet and greet constituents who come to her Washington office to pick up their inauguration tickets.
Saturday, Cheri will participate in a bipartisan service project with other freshman lawmakers at Ideal Academy (6130 North Capital Street in Washington, DC), a Washington-area school as part of the National Day of Service. Later in the day, she will meet with Marlee Sullivan, a Silvis, Illinois native, who is performing with the 200-voice Festival Choir from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, at the President’s swearing-in ceremony.
Monday, Cheri will attend the President’s swearing-in ceremony with her husband, Gerry.
“I’m excited to spend Inauguration weekend visiting with constituents and taking part in a bipartisan service project,” Congresswoman Cheri Bustos said. “Staying in close touch with the people of my district and serving others are two of my top priorities, and I look forward to continuing to do both over the next two years as I fight for the middle class families of our region.”
