Congresswoman Cheri Bustos to Visit with Constituents, Participate in Bipartisan Service Project over Inauguration Weekend

Tomorrow, Rep. Bustos Will Meet And Greet With Constituents In Her Washington Office As They Come To Pick Up Inauguration Tickets 

Saturday, Rep. Bustos Will Participate In A Bipartisan Service Project At Washington-Area School With Other Freshman Members And Will Meet With Marlee Sullivan, Silvis Native, Who Will Sing At Swearing-In Ceremony 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the office of Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) announced that tomorrow afternoon, Cheri will meet and greet constituents who come to her Washington office to pick up their inauguration tickets.

Saturday, Cheri will participate in a bipartisan service project with other freshman lawmakers at Ideal Academy (6130 North Capital Street in Washington, DC), a Washington-area school as part of the National Day of Service.  Later in the day, she will meet with Marlee Sullivan, a Silvis, Illinois native, who is performing with the 200-voice Festival Choir from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, at the President’s swearing-in ceremony. 

Monday, Cheri will attend the President’s swearing-in ceremony with her husband, Gerry.

“I’m excited to spend Inauguration weekend visiting with constituents and taking part in a bipartisan service project,” Congresswoman Cheri Bustos said.  “Staying in close touch with the people of my district and serving others are two of my top priorities, and I look forward to continuing to do both over the next two years as I fight for the middle class families of our region.”
