Bustos on NewsNation: Ethanol Blending Can “Bring Down the Price of Gas”

WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17), a member of the powerful House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee, joined Adrienne Bankert on Morning in America to provide an update on the war in Ukraine and how the conflict is impacting gas prices. 

During the interview, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos applauded President Biden for the release of U.S. Marine Veteran Trevor Reed from Russia and weighed in on Congress’ ongoing efforts to support the people of Ukraine.

Biofuels are domestic – it is corn and soybean grown and a way that we can bring down the price of a gallon of gasoline. If we blend 15% of gas with ethanol, that can bring down the price of gas.”
