Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17), along with other members of the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, introduced the Strengthen and Fortify Existing Bridges Act of 2013 (the SAFE Bridges Act) that could help speed up the replacement of the functionally obsolete I-74 Bridge in the Quad Cities.
